Message from the Head Teacher

Welcome to Canterbury Cross Primary School. We are a happy, friendly and caring school where children, staff, parents and carers work together to achieve the best outcomes for all pupils. Our school values of SHARE (Safety, Health and Happiness, Achievement, Respect and Equality) and CRISP (Conduct, Respect, Independence, Selflessness and Perseverance) are how we support pupils to excel.

Children are encouraged to be thoughtful, responsible, compassionate and inquisitive. Lessons are thoughtfully planned to give each child the opportunity to reach their potential and develop a life-long love of learning.

We want to ensure all our children believe in themselves and in their abilities, and they are able to develop personally and grow to be responsible citizens. Our role is to teach, encourage, support, facilitate, safeguard and collaborate with our parents and carers, so all our pupils are successful at Canterbury Cross Primary and beyond.
